hi people (though i wouldn't know who would read this...)

it's very near to the prelims and i know everyone's studying very hard, but please take time off to rest and play for a while... it's the last lap, so all the way!

i just want to say that i like this class a lot, really. I have learnt a lot about being accepting after being in this class for the past one and a half years. Really thank you for giving me this opportunity to be in the class and to accept me for being irritating and maybe insensitive at times when I'm super high or super low, and to give me the chance to serve you as the chem rep who occasionally forgets to collect notes (sorry!) . Even though we may not be in contact next time with everyone, i really do hope that we will still go out sometimes together and to play sports together, even if means that some of us have to travel to pioneer haha (:

Throughout these two years, even though it's a very short period of time, i think that we've been through quite a lot. All the PW crap, changing of teachers, splitting of classes, scoldings from our teachers, i think all these are memories unique to our class and we should always remember them. Definitely, even though we may not be very close to everyone in the class (especially if I'm rather anti social at times), i feel that being able to be very comfortable in the class means a lot to me, and i hope you all feel the same.

It is this class who have been supporting me through my bad days and stressed times, and i'm really grateful for that. So, i hope that we can continue to support one another through these last 3 months of studying and continue to show our appreciation towards one another even after we've graduated.

Thank you so much. I really like you guys A LOT...

I seriously cannot deny that our junior class is much Much MUCH more enthu than us. The most visible proof is the turn up rate for fac event. haiz. And my mortal is so like me (and yc in this aspect); she's forever hungry!! lol. Now I regret not giving her a large lunch box for angel mortal gift.

Although I have the feeling that this will be Daoed, I still want to urge everyone to join Earth Hour and vote for our mother planet tmr 8:30pm to 9:30 pm.

By just switching off our houses' lights for an hour we can convince the political big heads to start thinking about saving our environment! Go running/ stoning/mugging/ahmmmm-ing outside or sleeping/ stoning/ emoing indoors during that hour yah. Let's vote for our planet!

remember that day after the heavy rain (quite long ago)? I took this while walking back to college after band prac. If you look closely, there's a second rainbow above the first one. This is so rare in Singapore considering we only have thunder storm but seldom rainbows, not to mention double rainbows!

Please go buy them yourself as it's really too heavy for any sane dude to help you carry (that excludes insane dudes possessed by some other special energy :D:D )

Similarly, if you are not feeling well, you are required to still be at the pool or else it is taken as you have "skipped lesson" and liable for demerit points.

The swim module is 6-lessons. Any missed lessons will result in make-up lessons

yay ppl, it's the new year and what has gone past without some of us noticing??

yes, it's shengkun's and fanli's birthdays!!! happy birthday 18-years-old kids =) =) ah well, technically fanli's birthday's not over yet... so yup

anyway, it's the year 2009 and i'm sure we'll be setting goals for us this year, and i got a calender and was thinking if we can hang it at class bench to plan for class stuffs like EXERCISING, outings or even mugging sessions! anyone who wants to mug can pen down a time on days that he/she wants to mug, then anyone who wants to join can just join... hahaha but i feel it will be quite ineffective =p i'll still bring it nonetheless...

we're j2s now (i'm sad...) and this means we shall make our juniors childish, whee =)

ok, and our dear blog is almost 1 years old... i'm rather surprised how it was maintained up till today hahahah, good effort to everyone who tagged and posted for the past whole year and pls continue to do so even though we'll be much more busier than last year because this builds up the class spirit!!

and... good class spirit = good class morale = good working relationships within class = fun time in class while working hard = super duper good for everyone (including our teachers =p)

We are planning to have another class outing next Sat, 3rd Jan.

It's very similar to the previous one we've had. so details are as follow:

Time: sometime in the morning? we'll confirm again

Meeting place: Bedok MRT station (anyone got another nicer place to meet??)

Things to bring: extra set of clothings, beach ball (if anyone has), cards, socks (if you're going for rollerblading), water bottle, money (for lunch/and dinner and renting of stuffs), a relaxed soul, a strong rope (for in shu yan's case)

hah, and i'm finally posting... and i didn't know so much things happened at the beach that day while i was slacking around the bags!! ah well, now that the year is coming to an end and next year's starting, a few things that we have to keep in mind...

1. to stay super focus in studies because it's the A's next year and we need our As...
2. to be super nice to our juniors just like our seniors and think more for our juniors, ie not to take up the whole class bench =p must give some space for them
3. to be more bonded and helpful towards everyone so that we can feel the class spirit and all progress together, not leaving anyone behind!!

ah well, we are going to be seniors next year, and so we need to be more bonded to shower our love towards them and ourselves because we really need to stay as a class next year since it will be super duper hectic with all the competitions and stuff plus STRESS :(

After H3 meeting, I met ou and ShuYan at bench and we went for lunch together and saw....hmmhmm..... with hmmhmm... so we decided to leave them alone and go ahead with our lunch at KAP. Then we went to cold storage (note, COLD storage, very cold :D) to look at the things. Loads of cold stuff generated there, contributing to the general effort in saving Earth from Global Warming.

Heya

here is the video on how to get to Yun Nan Corner by bus.

But first, you have to get to Boon Lay bus interchange. Then walk through the whole loop of the interchange and board 179.

Then simply follow the instructions in the video and you'll be fine :D

The video is 3mb+, and I've converted it to 3gp format (that's why it's so small), so you can download it to your phone and use it as a guide when you come.

I'll be having band practice on 8/11, I'll be released at around 1pm. So if anyone's in school and wana go to yun nan corner together with me, just drop me a sms at least a day before.

For dudes interested in playing ball games, there are basketball courts (no booking needed), tennis courts, table tennis tables, badminton courts, squash courts (all these need bookings in advance). If you are interested in getting a court, please inform me also, so I know which court to book. The SRC in ntu will not be providing rackets and balls, so bring them yourself. And as the SRC is officially for NTU staff and students, please dun wear some school shirt there :D haha.

That's all, btw, anyone want to watch movies? We can borrow a few from our school lib and watch in Yun Nan corner together. I've ripped the Charles Chaplin films from Si Yuan the other day. Tons of laughter!

we have a class outing on Nov 8, sat from 1300-1700. it will be at NTU yunnan corner. there is 1 pool table, 1 billard table, 1 table tennis table and a karaoke set. so those who have table tennis bats and karaoke CDs, pls bring:) oh and we can also play bball and badminton at SRC which is near there(according to yaze) so bring a change of clothes:)

Hey guys.This is my first time ever in life to post things on class blog. Since our class soccer team got the 4th place today. All of us players felt upset after the entire tournament. We aimed for championship. But we only got 4th. No prize,no presentation ceremony,same as the bottom...though we played in disadvantages. such as the changed goalkeeper while before penalty shooting and we played 6 vs 7 for last match. In spite of all this. I m still gonna say tat we guys have tried our best today.
Lixiang, dun be sad that u missed tat penalty, u linked the striking line the defending line very well today. and gave full support to mav and cs also.
wz, though u r still sick, u did a great job as well. u marked all the vital players of our opponent teams today. I saw u ran throughout the whole tournament too.ur goal was nice
Sk. many thanks to ur first goal. though its a bit lucky. but ur goal helped we guys relax down and get on fire after the 1st match.ur defence today was awesome. Almost noboday could break through u.and sophia watched all ur exceptional performances on the field:D
Hongye,u r also superb in defending today. and make yuyu so slack for the first several games.well done. Today is my first day saw u pissed off.its quite cute anyway.
CS,u also did well today. u kept chasing after the ball and pressurizing the opponent defenders.U r the so-called captain in the team.ur spirit spurred us on during matches.

There will be Physics extra lesson this Friday From 9 to 11am. Venue = LT1.

Although this will clash with Ms Claire's GP class, the Physics lesson will still carry on as stated, from 9 to 11am. Guys from Ms Claire's class, please do come to phy class as soon as you GP lesson is over. You will make up for the parts you miss after the lesson. (rephrase: you will stay up beyond 11am... bring food if you know you'll starve :D)

For PhysO ChemO PoolO SoccerO, DotaO people, there may be clash will you subsequent activity, can't help on that one...

If you have read this email, and understand that you need to come to LT1 from 9am to 11am this Friday, please reply me an email or sms or call or msn msg.

Yes, I'm here to remind you guys about the FOS sign up. Firstly, I must stress that there is one categories you guys (and girls) can participate in.. Inter-CT.. and I ask for your active participation cause as you all know: "sports is gd for health and promotes bonding among classmates (juz like hip-hop dance.. :P).. it also allows some of you to show-off your sporty side by trashing our opponents". How can you not participate after seeing all these?!

Our class has talents in many areas but what I believe is that we are the best in soccer and basketball. But but.. here is the prob: some of us are good (really good) in both soccer and bball and because no one is allowed to participate in 2 events.. we have got a serious problem here: the economic concept of rivalry.

So how?? Since you guys cannot decide then I'll help you allocate :D (my pleasure)

According to my ideology, we have slim chances of winning in soccer, which is played on field, as we are champs for street soccer in Athena and as all of you know, field soccer is very different and very tiring. 1. Tomorrow i'll go collect give out the lecture notes on halogen thingy (not sure what it is, didn't really pay attention during lecture at that point of time...) and note that lecture starts at 3.30 and ends at 4.30 this friday. That's because we're going out next thursday so we will miss the lecture. Don't ask me what's going on next thursday (yes leeqi, i know it's your birthday =)). It's some outing and we're going to Paya Lebar if i didn't hear and remember wrongly during the lecture. The outing will be during the lecture i guess but i'm not sure about the timing...

Great news! The High school band and string orchestra will be having an exchange with Nanjing Youth Orchestra. I have a bundle of free band concert tickets to give away! iIs anyone interested?

The high school band will be playing:

spring march (National Band Comepetition 2008 Gold)
7th night of july (SYF 2005 Gold)

The Nanjing youth Orchestra will be playing:

bizet's carmen suite (very famous piece!!)
pachebel's canon (Canon!! that most famous piece in the history of music!!)
and some violin concertos
etc

Then the High school string orchestra will also be playing some songs, which I have no idea about.

The conert will be at High School Drama Centre, free sitting. Time is 4pm, so we can rush there after CT period.

If anyone's interested, please tell me asap, hopefully before next week, so I can grab the tickets from my band instructor by next wed and give you guys before fri :D

hello! after not posting for sooooo long.... hmmm, hope you all enjoyed gems today! =) with all the prawning and being envious at shengkun's affinity for the prawns.... back to business from tmr onwards =(

But still, GEMS was nice!! (just a LITTLE bit hot, especially for everyone who cooked) thanks to all who helped in the preparation of food, including the burning of otahs at first, pretty cool... and the provision of food (mx,hanwen,shengkun,lx,shuyan,caishuai,angela,hongye,anyone else?? note that my name's not there... i caught none... -quotes yz- rp too bad...). So sad for people who didn't go.... but that means more food for everyone!! (till we became bloated with otahs and sausages and blah.. no prawns though, looking at the miserable amount that we managed to fish out =p)

Bowen will be joing us for GEMS!! So do bring extra clothes and be prepared for the extra amount of coldness in the air :D:D

Gems will start at 3pm. We'll be gathering at Pasir Ris MRT by then (according to Chester). It'll be pretty late in the afternoon, so can we all make it on time at the MRT and get our prawns onto the BBQ set asap :D I wonder how big the prawns will be hmmm... Big prawns look good on the BBQ :D:D

Mr Cheong will (very possibly) come as well, so we can bring PW related stuff that day for him to check :D

Another thing, for the guys who have ordered the Phy Remedial ws (past year promo papers), please bring a folder on mon so it will not be crampled into toilet paper by the time you get home. Please also bring $1.20 exactly, 一手交钱一手交货, I won't have enough change for anyone.

Phy online post lecture test for thermodynamics and pre lecture tests for wave motion are open, please attempt before next thursday 2359 hours and Friday 1400 hours respectively. It'll contribute to our CA...

Hi, guys

This is another weekend which we cannot play too much. Sigh...We have chemistry test on Mon. So we should study for it and the promo exam is nearer and nearer. Things are so scary and time flies, we really don't have much time. I still remember the first day we had lessons together, preparing for fac flag and things like this. It was just like a moment ago. Happily, we have spent 7 months together and I hope we can spend the other part of the year with more fun, although it will be filled with tests, revision and exams.

Happy Birthday to Du Jing!!

yep, I have to admit that Du Jing is a particularly random person. How can you delete your B-day date from the B-day list and not tell anyone about it!!?? Can teach me how to do it? It's so cool to edit the class blog without people knowing.

Anyway, a person's birthday is for everyone to celebrate, not to hide in her own room and celebrate herself :D Although the latter one happens to me all the time...

So in conclusion, Here wishing Du Jing happy birthday on behalf of the class since I doubt anyone knows about this :D:D

p.s. so where are we going for GEMS? I want to go for roller skating or skating. I'm absolutely against KBox due to inherent disinclination to bad singing.
